Kozhikode Beach is a haven for those who wish to relax and try out authentic seafood delicacies. This beach is surrounded by lush greenery and there are a lot of cultural landmarks nearby to roam about. Kozhikode beach has a significant place in the history of Kerala as it is here the Portuguese explorer and navigator, Vasco Da Gama first landed and from then the legendary spice Route came into existence. The most interesting thing about the beach is its Dolphin Point where you can watch the playful dolphin. To view the spectacular sunset, people flock in large numbers to the beach in the evening.
