The Chembra Peak offers a fantastic trail for those adrenaline junkies looking for an adventurous trek. Amidst rolling meadows and dense shola forests, trekking to this highest peak in Wayanad which is located at about 2100 m above sea level, is extremely challenging and thrilling as well. The trail is surprisingly steep and the route to the peak is full of breathtakingly beautiful sights of waterfalls cascading from misty green hills. The delicate ecosystem of this peak houses rarest varieties of flora and fauna. The iconic heart-shaped lake which is known as "Hridhayathadakam", steals the show at this picturesque peak.
